These are the sketches i did for my tiger. The first ones had too much detail so i drew a few extra ones on the back of the paper. Those are better, less detail, but they still need some more work.

History of Make Your Mark Tattoo
Make Your Mark tattoo was developed in 2001 by Scott Reeber and his wife Tatiana Reeber. They both were very much into tattoo's and piercings coming out of high school. Tatiana went to college for nursing, and Scott went for graphic design. Together with their combined knowledge of health safety and the arts, and their love of tattoos, they decided to open a tattoo parlor. The name of their tattoo parlor came from their idea of creating original and personal tattoos on people, like a birthmark the customer could create themselves. They wanted to emphasize the fact that people could create their own design for their tattoo, or their own personal 'mark'. They decided to use a tiger as their logo, because tigers have very unique beautiful markings on their bodies, this is something they wanted their tattoos to be affiliated with.
They opened their tattoo parlor in West Reading, PA 10 years ago in November. Their business was slow at first but once they got some advertisements out business picked up. They soon were able to afford to hire other workers to help with the work load they were bringing in. They soon became one of the best tattoo parlors in the county. As a celebration of their 10 year success they are having a party with food and lowered prices on tattoos and piercings. The celebration is going to be held on November 19th, starting at noon. We hope you can come and celebrate with Scott and Tatiana and their co-workers.

You also want to make sure that you do not put your own logo or personality into a business's logo, its for the business not yourself. Also remember to keep things simple, too complex of a design may not come out clearly when blown up or scaled down. Do not rely completely on color, a logo should look good with no color. Remember the typeface you chose could make or break your logo, you must find a font that does not compete with the logo. And make sure your don't use to many different fonts in your design. The most important thing to remember is do not copy from other logos.

These logos are all really clever. My favorite is the tostitos one, and i couldn't believe that a lot of people didn't see that, that is the first thing i notice when i look at the tostitos logo. The toblerone bear is awesome, you can see it but its not obvious. The hershey kisses logo was really hard to find the hidden picture, but when i found it i was amazed. I wonder if the designer decides to put a hidden picture into the logo before they create it or it just happens and they go with it? This is probably a really hard thing to come up with, but when it works, it is awesome.

Businesses
So when i thought of a white tiger i thought of where they were from, which is around India. I looked up come companies in India. The first company i came across is TATA Steel, they are the 2nd largest steel company in India. I thought tigers are big, and powerful, the same as the company and the steel they produce. I looked into the company, and recently they have been having some complaints on their environment and resource conservation. So i thought well if they have a logo that is a native animal that might help their image, and make people see them as more conservative about the environment and their resources.

The second business i thought of was the art of tattoo. I thought of this because of all the beautiful unique markings a white tiger has on their body. I wanted to go bigger than just a small tattoo shop though. I found a company called National Tattoo Supply. They have lower prices than others and they have top shelf equipment. They are higher up on the chain of tattoo supply companies, which worked well with tigers being high up on the food chain.

I found a company that works directly with Indian Tigers. They are called Indian Tiger Welfare Society. They are an organization that gets the message out to the public that Tigers are endangered and need help. They also have tiger tours you could take to see and learn more about tigers. This Company does not have a pictorial logo, and a tiger would be the perfect one for them.
